    June 1st, 2012 WBU e-Notice

    Here is our e-notice, listing WBU updates and related events. We will soon be adding much of our news directly to the WBU website, rather than sending out notices via emails. Be sure to connect to the WBU website weekly for updates and to view important notices. www.worldblinunion.org Updates for the 2012 WBU/ICEVI General Assembly:  1000 volunteers showed up in Bangkok to launch the news to the media of the upcoming WBU/ICEVI 2012 General Assemblies. The volunteers wore bright yellow and black colored T-shirts to create the image of a large happy face wearing dark sunglasses. If registering in another language, please print off the manual forms (available in English, French and Spanish) directly off the website. For those members registering multiple participants or delegates, a group registration spreadsheet is available from the WBU Office. Sightsavers works to ensure eye health and social inclusion worldwide and seeks to support successful, innovative projects that enable this kind of work, and can be replicated in other areas.
